Developed to match Asus' TUF Gaming series motherboards with Classic Camo, Urban Camo, and Digital Camo heatspreader designs, the new G.Skill Sniper X DDR4 memory series will be available in capacities of up to 128GB (8x16GB) and range from DDR4-2400 to DDR4-3600 frequencies.
According to G.Skill, these will be aimed at both gaming and content creation systems, be validated under a series of rigorous tests for maximum compatibility and reliability as well as support Intel's XMP 2.0.
G.Skill did not reveal any specific details regarding the lineup but did note that it will be available in Q1 2018. We expect the new Sniper X to be the star of G.Skill's CES 2018 lineup, alongside recently announced high-performance DDR4 DIMM and SO-DIMM kits.
