Patriot Memory has rolled out a new Xporter series flash drive, the Xporter Rage. Featuring a capless design, the new Xporter Rage comes with the same rubberized case that we seen on previously released Xporter flash drives and will be available in capacities ranging from 8GB to 64GB.

The new Xporter Rage has 5.3x2.18x1.1 cm (WxHxD) dimensions and features a quad-channel NAND controller that gives it pretty impressive 27MB/s and 25MB/s read and write speeds. As noted, the new Xporter Rage will be available in 8, 16, 32 and 64GB capacities and will be backed by a lifetime warranty.

The new Xporter Rage flash drive still features a USB 2.0 interface and, according to Patriot, the quad-channel performance makes these drives one of the fastest that are available on the market, at least until those USB 3.0 flash drives kick in.

The drives are currently available for pre-order and will soon be widely available. The price stands at US $24.99 for the 8GB one and up to US $139.99 for the 64GB one. You can find them over at Newegg.com.
