Patriot has showcased its 2000MHz 2GB DDR3 Viper and it works at reasonable latencies.
The CPU-Z screen is the safest and stable configuration, but according to Patriot it is possible to go for 7-7-7 latencies; but it is going to be branded and sold with these settings. As you can see from the picture below this kit is cooled by Patriot’s Viper series heat-spreaders made from an aluminum-copper alloy.
The kit sounds good, but as DDR2 prices are hitting the lowest point ever, there is almost no place for the DDR3 memory on the market.
