We mentioned that OCZ is probably going to do Platinum DDR3 1600MHz triple channel kit for Intel's Core i7 but we couldn't confirm it at that time. But according to our info those 3GB and 6GB kits are going to happen, and will be launched sooner that we thought.

According to what we managed to find out, the OCZ Platinum DDR3 1600MHz 3GB and 6GB kits with CL7-7-7-20 latencies are coming and are possible at 1.65 Volts. In addition to the Gold series, the 1600MHz Platinum kits should complete the first part of the DDR3 Core i7 lineup ,as other kits might come at a later date.

The price of the Platinum is still unknown, as we are waiting for these kits to appear at e-tail/retail, but we do know that some of them should sell below the €300.
