Super Talent has released a 4 GB T800UX4GC5 DDR2 memory kit that operates at 800MHz in dual channel motherboard and works at 5-5-5-15 latencies at 2.1 Volts.
4 Giga Byte kit is meant for gamers and enthusiasts and will be available this week at an estimated street price of $438. The kit is containing a matched pair of 2 GB 800MHz DDR2 non-ECC unbuffered 240-pin DIMMs.
Super Talent isn't first to announce 4 GB memory kits. After OCZ previewed its 4 GB Vista gaming kit all major memory companies are following the same path. Memory price are dropping down and we expecting to see some big changes in memory market. You can primarily
blame Vista x64 OS for that.
You need an x64 OS to be able to use the whole 4GB or more memory.
