Corsair finally started shipping the new Flash Voyager GT, the new product in their USB line of drives. We saw the samples back at CES but I guess it took Corsair some time to prepare these fast sticks.

It boosts the performance to 34MB/sec for reading, and 28MB/sec for writing. The speed is certainly impressive. The body is once again made from rubber, and is water and shock resistant. Color is changed from old Voyager's blue to a "racing red". New product comes with new security, the Flash Voyager GT offers TrueCrypt encryption software, which offers AES 256-bit encryption. User gets a 10 years warranty.

It will be available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB, at a suggested retail price of $29.99, $59.99 and $119.99 for the largest one. Good news is that old Voyager USB keys will moves down to price/performance segment so we can expect a price drop.
