Offical picture of Asus 9800GX2
Has a lot of model name acronyms
We've gotten what we believe is the first official picture of Asus's upcoming Geforce 9800GX2 card, and Asus has stuck a lot of extra random letters and numbers at the end of the product name. The official name for Asus' card is the 9800GX2/G/2DI/1G.
We can figure out what some of it stands for, 2DI should be two DVI, 1G is of course the 1GB of graphcis memory, but we're not sure what the G on its own stands for. The card is a pure reference design and we don't have any clock speeds for it as yet.
Asus has stuck a sticker of some girl and some trees in bloom on the card, but that's really the only thing that sets it apart from the other reference designs we've seen.
