Zotac 8800GT gets clocked at 700MHz
AMP! Edition + 660MHz card
Zotac has announced two versions of the Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT. Neither the "plain" one nor the AMP! Edition use reference clocks and the plain card works at 660MHz core clock, while the Amp! has touched the sky with 700MHz core clock.
Both cards use 512MB of GDDR3 memory with 256bit memory interface, and come with single-slot active cooling. The first one, branded ZOTAC GeForce 8800GT, works at 660MHz for the core, 60MHz higher then reference one, 1600MHz for Shader clock, 100MHz over the reference clock. The "plain" one comes with memory clock of 1600MHz.
Now Zotac's AMP! Edition comes with an impressive 700MHz core clock and overclocked memory and Shaders. The Geforce 8800GT AMP! Edition to 700MHz is matched with 2000MHz and a stunning 1700MHz for Shader clock.
Both cards should be available with a suggested price of $259 Euro for the 8800GT AMP! Edition and 249 for the "plain" one.
