The top card of ATI's mainstream series will be selling for just about €100 in Europe. We learned that suggested retail price from the add in board partners is about $119 US while the European version might actually find its way to consumers to just about €100.

You will get 800 MHz core and 1400 MHz memory for the price and the cards are still not available but they should be for middle of the month. This card is definitely cheaper even from 8600GT and it would be fun to compare these two while 8600 GTS stays as the king of sub €200 market.
