EVGA has announced its 8400GS DirectX 10 entry level graphic cards. EVGA will offer two versions, 128 and 256MB version.
Both cards are low profile design and are cooled by a small fan. A core is clocked at reference 450MHz, and has 16 Stream processors. The card uses DDR2 memory at reference 800MHz with 64bit memory interface, which should end up at 6.4 GB/sec of memory bandwidth.
Shaders are also at reference 900MHz. As all other 8400GS cards this one also come with DVI-I, VGA and HDTV interface. The cards maxiumum suggested retail prices are, $59,99 USD for the 128MB version and $79,99 USD for the 256MB version.
