Nvidia's Quadro driver fixes the Geforce 8800 Lost Planet issue. As we reported earlier, the Geforce 8800 GTX and Geforce 8800 Ultra had some problems with Lost Planet under Windows XP. The weaker 8800 GTS was affected as well, and the game froze frequently. You can find out more in our original article here.
Luckily it turns out that the Quadro professional series driver 160.02, which works well with all Geforce cards from series 5 and onwards, saves the weekend. We tried it out with a Geforce 8800GTS, GTX and Ultra, and we can confirm that it solves the problem.
The Geforce 8600 series works fine with the ForceWare 158.22 and Windows XP.
