Sapphire, Gigabyte, Gecube, PowerColor (Tul) and Club3D are the first ones to announce the new R600XT cards. From today on we should called them Radeon HD 2900XT.
Sapphire has started to ship its standard ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT cardand announced a Toxic version of this card. The standard version is very close to reference. It has a reference design and cooler, clocks just a little higher for the core. Core is clocked at 750 MHz, 10 MHz higher then reference, and 512 MB GDDR3 ended up clocked on reference 1650 MHz.
The Toxic card is water-cooled and Sapphire's PR stated that Toxic edition will be able to go up to 15% on the core and memory speeds. Sapphire is already shipping standard editions of its HD2900 XT, and is expected to announce other cards in the coming weeks. VR-zone managed to get a picture of Toxic in Crossfire.
Gigabyte announced its R600XT, same as others nothing changed from reference design, clocks haven't been announced but since the card has the same reference cooler we think that clocks are the same as on reference card.
Gecube jumped guns on RV630XT an RV610LE and announced them along with its HD 2900 XT. Its R630XT or HD 2600 XT will have interesting cooling and OCWorkbench managed to get hold of the picture. Here are the specifications of all three cards, and the pictures of HD 2600 XT and HD 2900 XT.
Powercolor announced its R600XT, we already did a review of it and you can check it out here. Same reference cooler, and reference clocks.
Club3D did their version of R600XT but again nothing new, just the different sticker on the cooler. Here is the picture of it.
