The new VR kit should ship by April 2016 but we have seen that the final product has been delayed before. This is a date one can hope for.
The new controllers might be near final if not the final final version and they look polished. The new controller looks much more like a retail ready product.
Fudzilla has used an earlier version of controllers that worked just fine. It takes a bit to get use to controllers in real 3D space but you can learn to aim, shoot or pick up things rather fast.
HTC will continue to work with partners and showcase this technology a few more times before April announcements and we still don’t know the final price of the Vive. The 2016 seems to be the birth year of the real virtual reality devices but it will take a few more years to get the technology to better levels.
This is just the beginning of the long journey.
