Nvidia releases new Geforce 358.87 WHQL Game Ready drivers

One to use if want to play Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Nvidia has released its newest Geforce 358.87 WHQL-certified Game Ready drivers which include all game optimizations to offer the best gaming experience for the upcoming Call of Duty: Blacks Ops III first-person shooter.

According to Nvidia, the new Geforce 358.87 WHQL Game Ready drivers include all optimizations for the best possible gaming experience in Call of Duty: Black Ops III game, on both single- and multi-GPU configurations. In case you missed it earlier, Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops III should launch tomorrow.

In addition to Call of Duty: Black Ops III optimizations, the new Geforce 358.87 WHQL Game Ready drivers also include optimizations for Anno 2205 and the new War Thunder patch with GameWorks.

In order to prepare for the tomorrow launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Nvidia has also published a post recommending the Geforce GTX 970 as the graphics card in case you want to play the game in 60 FPS at 1080p resolution and high level of detail. In case your monitor supports 1440p resolution, Nvidia recommends the GTX 980 and in case you are gaming on 4K/UHD resolution, you should have the Geforce GTX 980 Ti, at least if you are looking to play the game at high details level.

In addition to Game Ready-optimizations, the new Geforce 358.87 WHQL drivers also bring couple of SLI profiles including the one for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, as well as Act Of Aggression, NBA 2K16, StarCraft II, Sword Coast Legends and Triad Wars.

The new Geforce 358.87 WHQL Game Ready drivers are available for Windows Vista, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors and will work on most, if not all Geforce graphics cards since Geforce 400 series.
