With short PCB and blower style fan

Gigabyte has rather silently unveiled its newest Geforce GTX 970 Twin-Turbo graphics card that will feature a custom design short PCB as well as a blower-type cooler.

While the name might suggest that it uses a cooler with two fans, the new Gigabyte GTX 970 Twin-Turbo (model: GV-N970TTOC-4GD) actually comes with a blower-style fan that pushes the hot air across the graphics card and out of the case.

In addition to a blower-style cooler, the new Gigabyte Geforce GTX 970 Twin-Turbo also uses a custom shorter PCB, which allows the cooler to pull air from both the front and the back of the cooler and draw more air, which is the reason behind the Twin-Turbo name.

The new Gigabyte GTX 970 Twin-Turbo will be available in two versions, with and without a factory-overclock. The factory-overclocked version will work at 1101MHz for the GPU base and 1241MHz for the GPU Boost clocks while the standard version will work at reference 1076MHz for the GPU base and 1216MHz for the GPU Boost clock. Both versions will pack 4GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 7012MHz.

The entire card is powered by a single 8-pin PCI-Express power connector and display output configuration includes three DisplayPort 1.2, one HDMI and one DVI output.

According to Techpowerup.com, which spotted the new Gigabyte GTX 970 graphics card, you can expect the standard version to sell for around US $300 whiel the OC version should be US $10 more expensive.
