Leaked by HWBattle.com site, the GPU-Z screenshot pretty much confirms recent reports which suggested that Geforce GTX 980 Ti was based on a new GM200-310 GPU with 2 out of 24 SMM units disabled, which adds up to 2816 CUDA cores.
The new Geforce GTX 980 Ti will also pack 6GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface. There are still a few unknown details but at least we now have the precise GPU and memory clocks and the Geforce GTX 980 Ti will end up working at 1000MHz for the GPU base and 1076MHz for the GPU Boost clocks, while 6GB of GDDR5 memory will end up clocked at 1750MHz (7.0GHz effective), at least for the reference version.
As you already know, Nvidia AIC partners will be allowed to come up with custom versions since day one so there will be plenty of different custom versions, probably with high factory-overclock settings, since the GTX 980 Ti is rumored to go as high as 1200MHz for the GPU and up to 1900/2000MHz for the memory.
The same HWBattle.com site also managed to run som 3DMark benchmarks, where the GTX 980 Ti managed to score 14071 in 3DMark Fire Strike benchmark and 29444 points in 3DMark Cloud Gate benchmark.
The pictures of the new Geforce GTX 980 Ti were earlier leaked by Videocardz.com, showing a standard reference Nvidia PCB, which we already seen on the GTX Titan X graphics card as well as the same blower-style reference cooler, just with a different color scheme.
While we still do not have a precise launch date it is obvious that the GTX 980 Ti will launch quite soon, most likely in early June or in line with Computex 2015 show in Taipei. We are still missing the most important piece of information regarding it and that is the price.
