The new Nvidia Geforce 352.84 WHQL is actually the first graphics driver certified by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Qualification Lab (WHQL) and includes full support for WDDM 2.0 specification as well as offers DirectX 12 support on Nvidia's Kepler and Maxwell GPU architectures.
While there currently no games that can actually take advantage of DirectX 12, we have already seen plenty of tech demos, which you can also try, including the Forza DX12 renderer, Fable Legends DX12 Game Demo, King of Wushu DX12 and Unreal Engine Race DX12 demo and the performance improvements that DirectX 12 will actually bring.
In addition to the WHQL-certified Geforce 352.84 WHQL driver, Nvidia has also announced the new Geforce 352.82 WHQL Game Ready driver for current Windows versions, including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors. The new Geforce 352.86 WHQL driver adds optimizations for the new The Wither 3: Wild Hunt game which will be officially launched tomorrow, May 19. It also includes SLI profiles and Geforce Experience settings for the game.
In case you missed it earlier, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is also part of Nvidia's new "Two Times the Adventure" game bundle, which also include Batman: Arkham Knight game, and which gives new buyers of desktop Geforce GTX 980, GTX 970 and GTX 970 as well as new buyers of notebooks equipped with GTX 970M and GTX 980M, free game codes for those games.
