As soon as some of the first pictures of the GK104 PCB showed up on-line, we saw a lot of estimates regarding the size of first Kepler GPU and now, a close-up shot of the GK104 GPU puts it at around the same size as the 55nm G92 GPU.

When placed next to the 55nm G92 GPU, and taken into account that the GK104 die is identical, it is pretty clear that the GK104 is as big as the G92. This puts the GK104 GPU at somewhere around 300 mm².

Of course, the main unknown regarding the GK104 and the upcoming GTX 680 card based on it, is the actual price of the card. Nvidia has an event scheduled for today and we hope that more info will show up pretty soon.
