Following on the AMD official launch date, Powercolor has officially revealed its own Radeon HD 7970 card. Based on the 28nm GCN architecture, the new Powercolor HD 7970 is all reference design, featuring stock clocks as well as the AMD reference cooler.
The Powercolor Radeon HD 7970 graphics card packs 2048 stream processors, works at 925MHz for the GPU and 1375MHz (5.5Gbps) for 3GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface. As it is the case with all Radeon HD 7970 cards, this one also supports DirectX 11, AMD's HD3D Technology and AMD Eyefinity for some multi-display fun. The card packs DVI, HDMI and two mini-DisplayPort outputs.
Powercolor decided to bundle the card with Dirt 3 (game), and is priced at 539,90 in Europe.
