AMD has opened the champers after Perseus Labs, using Windows Hardware Quality Labs software praised its Catalyst graphics drivers to the skies. The labs claimed that the drivers were the most reliable and “push the limits of innovation with advanced user-oriented features”.

The Catalyst drivers offer controls for power users, tweaks for gamers and video enthusiasts, simple wizard-assisted setup, easy multi-monitor configuration, and ultra reliable operation for professionals, the labs added.

Ben Bar-Haim, corporate vice president of software for AMD Products Group said that the plans were to add more to the AMD Catalyst software including a new interface. AMD is pleased because it sees Perseus Labs as being independent.
