Final HD 5830 specs leaked
Slide shows it all
The one Cypress-based card that AMD still hasn't released is the HD 5830 which has been delayed, and should officially be announced on February 25th, or simply, this Thursday.
The leaked slides that surfaced up at IT168.com looks like a real deal and the HD 5830 should have 1120 Stream processors, 56 Texture units and 16 ROPs. The HD 5830 works at 800MHz for the core and 1000MHz for the GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. This is slightly off from the early listings we came across some time ago. The one thing that caught our eye is the maximum board power consumption that stands at 175W, which is by 24W higher than on the HD 5850 (151W).
The price of the HD 5830 should be somewhere around US $250, or to be precise between US $200 and US $250 which will fill the gap between AMD's Radeon HD 5770 and the HD 5850 cards.
The new HD 5830 should start to appear in retail/e-tail pretty soon and we are quite sure the VaporX or PCS versions will show up pretty soon.
