HIS shows its HD 5670's
Dual slot IceQ cooler
HIS has announced its own HD 5670 card that will be available with either 512MB or 1GB of GDDR5 memory, but the surprise is the choice of cooler, as HIS decided to go for its quite famous IceQ cooling on both cards.
Both cards work at reference clocks of 775MHz for the core and 4000MHz for memory. The rest of the features include a 128-bit memory interface, 400 Stream processors, support for DirectX 11 and CrossfireX.
HIS also changed the backplate as well and unlike the reference card that has DisplayPort, these two feature D-Sub, HDMI and DVI outputs.
The new cards have yet to show up in retail/e-tail and we guess that they might cost a bit more than the competition due to non-reference cooling, but we'll certainly keep an eye out for them.
