Nvidia's CEO believes that Ion still stands for rebellion and that you have to be as big as HP to be able to get away with it. He used the words that "HP found a way" and the size of the company probably helped them out.
Jensen believes that if you are a small player, you can still have issues in launching an ION based PC. Since Lenovo is launching one soon, things will get better and it helps that brave Taiwanese lead with Acer, MSI and Asus, who are also doing some ION.
With flash acceleration on ION, something that was pre-announced at the conference, ION netbooks have a bright future as well.
