According to a few industry sources, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun
Huang plans to pay a visit to foundry partner Taiwan Semiconductor
Manufacturing Company and several motherboard and graphics manufacturers in Taiwan
in the third week of this month.
In addition, he is supposedly scheduled to meet with Chen
Wen-chi, current President and CEO of VIA Technologies. DigiTimes currently
claims that the visit is expected on April 20th, but Nvidia and VIA have both
stated to have no knowledge of this upcoming trip for the big boss. All in all,
we will keep our eyes peeled for any news that comes as a result.
If we're lucky, he might even purchase a chip manufacturer or two, and he will definitely spill some CUDA wisdom in case the Taiwanese didn't get it by now.
