Nvidia
plans to release a few new products at CeBIT. One of the most talked about products is
Geforce GTS 250, which is nothing more than G92b 55nm with new brand.
Partners believe
that this card might sell well, at last in retail where Geforce GTS 250 sounds
better than the “old” 9800 GTX+. The second major launch are three new mobile chips, the GTX 280M,
GTX 260M, and GTS 160M all geared up to bring back Nvidia's notebook dominance.
Last,
but certainly not the least, are 3D monitors and 3D vision glasses that have already
launched in the US, which should be available around the span of CeBIT. The event starts
tomorrow in German cold and rainy Hannover and lasts for the rest of the
week.
AMD, or let's
call the GPU part ATI, won't even officially be at CeBIT.
