Zotac preparing watercooled GTX 295
Water-cooled GTX 285 is an option too
According to our info and some other rumors around the net, Zotac is working on watercooled GTX 295 and GTX 285 cards.
Since the GTX 295 is a dual board, sandwich design card, we guess that the middle placed water block is a great solution as it certainly can dissipate much more heat than the reference fan solution. Our sources revealed also that we might be seeing a watercooled GTX 285 card as well, but information is scarce at the moment.
We suspect that these two cards might give some impressive overclocking results. The watercooled GTX 285 card might break that magical 702MHz mark for the GPU, but we will have to wait and see. Watercooled GTX 295 might be the fastest and the best card around, as the same thing happened when Sapphire launched its Atomic HD 4870 X2.
We will try to get more info on these cards, but we already know these cards should be announced in February, and the Cebit show in March might be the best place to show them.
