Diamond has announced a new card in its 4600 series, the Diamond HD 4670 1024MB. Diamond decided to double the fun with 1024MB of GDDR3 memory, which unfortunately works at a slightly lower clock than the reference version.
The new card will work at 750MHz for the GPU and will feature 1024MB of GDDR3 memory working at 900MHz (1,800MHz effective). The GPU has 320 stream processors and the card comes with support for ATI Crossfire and PowerPlay, PCI-Express 2.0 and DirectX 10.1. The card has two Dual Link DVI's and a TV-Out connector.
According to the press release, the new HD 4670 1024MB card should be available immediately at Fry's, Micro Center, Best Buy Canada and Future Shop, while the rest of the channels should get it in the 3rd week of October.
