Intel chaps told us that Jen Hsun Huang is the best promoter of Larrabee. Even Intel sees him as the first man of computer graphics and whenever he rants about Larrabee people just care more.

Jensen is doing free PR for Intel and we couldn’t agree more. Larrabee took far too many headlines considering the facts that we won’t even see betas before middle of 2009 and this is what we believe the best case scenario.

Even NV30, Nvidia’s Geforce FX or the biggest all time failure of Nvidia looked great on PowerPoint but in reality it ended up as a disastrous chip. ATI’s R600 looked great but in reality it failed to impress as it was not as fast as it was supposed to be and was way to hot to compete.

So someone should tell Jensen to simply ignore this PowerPoint product at least until it starts to matter.
