The adventure platformer will not be released for Xbox One on March 1st for download through the ID@Xbox development program. It will cost $19.99 to buy it. While Ori and the Blind Forest is still also going to be released on the Xbox 360, so far Moon Studios has no date for that version just yet, other than to say that it will be released at some point in 2015.
When announced and show at Gamescom last August, the unique platformer was pegged as one of the more innovative games to come out in a long time. While the delay has not really hurt the game so to speak, we wonder if people remember how cute it was and how good it looked when we saw the last trailer from it. Let’s hope Moon Studios does not miss their window again.
