If I happened to purchase my Xbox One during the twelve days between the promotion ending and it starting up again, will I get a refund? Well, this is tricky... the official Microsoft answer is "No". However, some retail outlets as well as credit cards to provide for price protection. This will be the only way you will get your $50 back.
Sources tell us that Microsoft is looking at several possibilities as far as setting the future price. If a permanent price drop comes it is likely it will come at E3.
