It is believed that Microsoft is looking to launch a “higher fidelity” toons/avatars that will be able to take advantage of the power of the Xbox One to not only do more things, but look much better while do it. Of course Microsoft will want the avatar experience to be accessible across multiplatform going forward.

It is hard to say where this all may lead, but for sure it could lead a much higher level of interaction between the avatars and games going forward. For sure the social think will be big with the new avatars, but right now it is hard to envision what this will look like.
