The Moon Studios developed platformer called Ori and the Blind Forest which was to be released by Microsoft ID@Xbox program has been pushed into early 2015. The game was expected for release this holiday season and the news comes as quite a surprise since the initial positive responses to the previews of the game.
The developers at Moon Studios confirmed that the decision to delay the game was made to allow for a “allow for a final layer of polish to be applied prior to release”. Most recently it was announced that Moon Studios would release the game through the ID@Xbox program, instead of it being published by Microsoft Studios.
Additional details on the delay have not been made public, but to do know when it is closer to release a new release date will be announced early next year. The game is still scheduled for release on the Xbox One and PC.
