The spin-off from the core Ninja Gaiden franchise, which is known as Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, has been delayed till the third week of March. The announcement comes with no explanation why the Spark-developed title is experiencing a slight delay.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will now see release in North America on March 18th and March 21st in Europe. With a number of other titles coming out around the same time frame as the original February 25th/28th launch date, the delay might help the title by giving it a little more breathing room and possibly a little more attention at its release time.
