Respawn community manager Abbie Heppe says that “Microtransactions are not us”, when questioned if Titanfall will follow the Electronic Arts policy these days of putting microtransactions in pretty much every title that they are releasing these days. (Battlefield 4 will be the first game in the Battlefield series that will add microtransactions).

While Respawn has not ruled out the possibility of delivering downloadable content for Titanfall, it seems that according to Heppe, it will not be delivered via microtransactions. We do suspect from what out sources tell us that it is safe to assume that we will see DLC for Titanfall, but it is good to known that at least for Respawn they are not going the microtransactions route.
