The problems apparently had both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game down. DICE was able to finally get everything sorted out and the game is once again playable. As for the cause, we don’t know; but we suspect that it might have something to do with the DOS attacks that DICE was experiencing in May. Of course, other than saying that a network attack of some sort was causing the issue, EA has not provided details of the specific issues surrounding the outage.
