While Microsoft has talked about the exclusives it plans to deliver during the first year of the Xbox One, this could be a hint of another one of the exclusives it has planned. The problem is that Ruffian Games, who developed Crackdown 2, is hard at work on a new self-titled project called Tribal Towers. Given this fact, it would have to be someone other than Ruffian who is developing Crackdown 3, if that is what is going on.
Crackdown has been a staple of the Xbox and it isn’t that farfetched to think Microsoft would be funding the development of Crackdown 3. Now Crackdown 3, along with rumors of Project Gotham 5 for the Xbox One, have attracted some positive attention for the Xbox One’s software lineup; but we will have to wait till E3 to see if this actually gets confirmed by Microsoft.
