Mass Effect fans will be pleased to learn that the next chapter in the Mass Effect saga is already in the very early design stage. It is still quite early in the process, so little is known.

How little is known is underscored by the fact that we don’t even know if Bioware will be calling it Mass Effect 4 or something else. One thing we do think we know is that the next chapter in the Mass Effect saga is rumored to feature a new hero.

Right now, there is no timeline or even a remote clue of when the game might be finished; but sources tell us that it will be coming out on the new consoles, and sources indicate those are the primary development platform.
