As the release date for the new Forza Horizon title draws closer, word has reached us that the first expansion pack from developer Playground Games is already on tap for a December 18th release.

While we don’t have any additional details on the upcoming Expansion Pack, we can confirm that Forza Horizon will offering monthly car pack DLC for purchase. The price of the expansion pack and car packs has yet to be announced, but we are told that it is likely the same as what we have already seen with Forza 4.

As you might expect, Forza Horizon will be offering a season pass that will cover upcoming content releases at a special price. Specifics on the pricing of the season pass and how much DLC content you will get with the season pass have not yet been announced; but expect the pricing information shortly as we continue to speed toward the release of Forza Horizon.
