Nintendo is claiming that they are expecting 50 titles to come out during the initial launch window for the console. The company is expecting that a number of heavy hitting titles will be available when the console launches on day one.

While they will not say when the launch window ends, we suspect that it will slide into next year, which makes the statement a little more believable. The day one title will include Nintendo Land, Super Mario Bros U, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, and Mass Effect 3; not a bad line-up if all of the titles actually make it for day one.

Nintendo, as well as a number of third party publishers, say that more Wii U titles will get official launch dates over the next couple of weeks.
