Horizon Pre-Order Bonus announced
Forza Horizon LCE also now confirmed
Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft have confirmed the pre-order bonus for the upcoming release of Forza Horizon. The pre-order bonus will be a special code to allow the download of a 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, complete with a special Forza Horizon livery that was created by the Forza community team.
If that is not enough, depending on where you pre-order Forza 4 Horizon, you will also get a code for one of four additional downloadable cars. The cars include:
2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG – Best Buy
2010 Ferrari 458 Italia – Game Stop
2012 Aston Martin Virage - Amazon
2010 Nissan 370Z – Walmart / Target / Microsoft Store / Newegg
You will want to make sure that you pre-order from a participating retailer to get the bonus cars. Microsoft adds that more retailers will be added, so if your favorite store isn’t listed, you might want to ask the retailer if they have any additional information yet.
For those who are big Forza fans, you might be more interested in the news that the rumored Limited Collector’s Edition (or what is being referred to as the Forza Horizon LCE) has now been confirmed. While there are still a few specifics to flush out, the contents aren’t going to change; only some specifics will likely be tweaked before release. Here is what you get with the Forza Horizon LCE edition:
Custom cover design
Custom-designed Steelbook packaging
Horizon Festival ticket to access exclusive Xbox LIVE content
Day 1 Add-on Pack with 5 cars
VIP Membership & Car Pack (more details soon)
Horizon Accelerator Token Pack
Five exclusive LCE Car Pack liveries (more details soon)
Sounds like a pretty good package for those Forza fans that are going to purchase Horizon. The Forza Horizon LCE will retail for $79.99, and sources tell us that it will be a “true” limited edition as Forza 3’s LCE was; this means that if you don’t pre-order it, the odds of getting one are going to difficult.
