Ninja Gaiden 3 to use Online Pass
Tecmo-Koei confirms that is the case
Surprise! Another publisher is moving to using the Online Pass methodology to help curb used game sales and increase revenue. This time around, the latest publisher to start using the Online Pass is Tecmo-Koei, who will use it in Ninja Gaiden 3 when it is released.
The word is that the Online Pass locks the online multiplayer part of the game. The news actually isn’t that surprising, as most titles are now taking advantage of the Online Pass strategy. While Tecmo-Koei has not yet confirmed it, our sources tell us that if you don’t have the Online Pass and want to take a shot at the online multiplayer it will cost you $10 to acquire one.
