Now that the latest dashboard update has been deployed for the most part, the first installment of additional streaming content is arriving. A number of new streaming sources are being added. Of course, depending on which region you are in will dictate what you may or may not get.

The new offerings are headed by You Tube, MSNBC, MSN Video, iHeartRadio and TMZ, while Verizon FiOS customers in the U.S. as well as Rogers customers in Canada will get access to new content from the cable provider.

This is just the first of what is expected to be multiple rounds of additional video streaming additions that Microsoft has planned to add to Xbox LIVE over the next couple of months. Sources tell us to expect Microsoft to announce more specifics on what to expect in the near future at CES.
