Despite a number of rumors that are circulating on the Internet today that a Halo movie is in the works from Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks, these rumors are simply not true. While there could be a Halo movie in the future, there is no Halo movie currently in development despite what a certain French press release suggests.

Our sources say that while DreamWorks has at least looked at the possibility of doing a Halo project, this was said to have been something they were considering over a year ago. While it should never be said that it could not happen, it just isn’t something that is happening right now. So, don’t get excited about any stories that you are reading about a Halo movie in 2012.
