The Facebook game is set to launch sometime in 2011, rumour has it in September, and civ addicts are already calling in sick.
The first reviews are mixed. The game includes several innovative concepts, not seen in previous Civilization instalments. However, some punters believe the game is still to sluggish and rough around the edges, but bear in mind that it’s a beta.
In any case, CivWorld could prove to be the hottest game on Facebook, thanks to legions of civ fans who have been hooked on the game for the past two decades.
