The news that started to circulate all over yesterday, including those of you that Emailed us is confirmed. Call of Duty: Black Ops will get a third map pack, which will be called Annihilation, and it will arrive on June 28th for $15 or 1,200 Microsoft Points.
The map pack will add four new maps, which are called Hanger 18, Drive-In, Silo, and Hazard. In addition, buyers will also be getting a new Zombie four-player-co-op level called Shangri-La. So, beyond knowing the name of the new zombie mode, we pretty much covered all of this yesterday.
Once again, the Microsoft Xbox 360 Black Ops players will have about a month’s head start on everyone else, as this platform once again gets it ahead of PC and PlayStation 3 owners. From our understanding, this will be the last map pack for Black Ops as the company turns its attention to Modern Warfare 3.
