We had a chance to chat with an old friend Mark Rein the Vice President of Epic and the chap said that his company is really happy that Unreal Engine 3 really works well at all three platforms, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and last and currently the least PC.

He thinks that PC game market has to thank the consoles for the quality of the games today. If it wasn’t for the consoles PC games would still look much worse that they look today.

DirectX 10 games are still the future and we will probably see more real DirectX 10 games in the year to come. The DirectX 10 era starts this winter as there will be many nice tiles to be launched from October to the end of the year.
