Borderlands to get add-on bundle
Game with all three DLC packs expected later
2K Games will be releasing the Borderlands Double Game Add-On Pack later this month. Strangely enough, we can only confirm the release for Xbox 360 and PC at the present time, as we are still attempting to confirm if it will be released for PlayStation 3 as well; but right now, it appears as if it will only be an Xbox 360 and PC release.
The Borderlands double DLC disc is set to arrive on February 23rd. The Borderlands Double Game Add-On Pack DLC disc package will include the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot.
Perhaps the strangest thing in the decision about this release is the news that Gearbox has a third download content release in the pipeline called the Secret Armory of General Knoxx that has yet to receive a release date; but our sources have confirmed to us that it is, in fact, in development and on track for release later this year.
From what our sources are telling us, the Borderlands Double Game Add-On Pack will only be released and available for purchase through GameStop as an exclusive offering. When it drops on the 23rd of February it is expected to go for $19.99. Our sources tell us to expect a new packaged version of Borderlands for next holiday season that will offer the game plus all three DLC add-on packs to be released later this year.
