America's Army cost totals at $32.8 million
And the taxpayers rejoiced...
Some might recall that America's Army was supposed to be a 5-year project that was projected to cost the US Government $7 million, although that story has long gone down the drain it seems. The latest number crunching added up the expenses of this now 10-year project and the outcome is $32.8 million.
We're not sure whether taxpayers should be happy with this, although we doubt they have a say or choice in the matter, as those who have spent their hard-earned cash on virtual warfare are usually those who are just a bit (Make that a gigabit. sub.ed) more equal than the rest of us.
It has been suggested that the bulk of these expenses were mostly spent on advertising, but seriously, it's $30 million. Who cares what they spent it on, it's not in taxpayers' pockets anymore is it?
