Razer to do StarCraft II gear
Blizzard to pimp StarCraft II for all it is worth
Razer appears to have landed what could be a really big thing for the company best known as the manufacturer of super high quality gaming peripherals and accessories for PC gamers. Blizzard has cut a deal with Razer to offer a complete line of what the company is calling tournament-grade accessories for StarCraft II.
For right now only, the new StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty messenger bag has been officially announced, but sources tell us that a wide variety of StarCraft II-themed keyboards, mice, headsets, and accessories are already in development or preparing to make their way into production.
The selection of Razer will come as a bit of a surprise to some, as previously Blizzard has had a relationship with the Steel Series team. Sources tell us that the reach and cool factor of the recent Razer products likely played into the decision, but we think it is safe to say that some money did exchange hands to make this deal possible.
