We’ve heard news of Ubisoft partaking in development of games for Facebook, and the studio has recently launched UbiFriends, an online portal for distribution of games and apps via Facebook.

Apparently, Ubisoft is “happy to bring the Ubisoft experience to the Facebook platform” as the company has quite a bit of experience and the first game will be a timed trivia game called Tick Tock, which will feature bombs, explosions and content automatically generated from Facebook’s status updates (It took enough time getting rid of those, thank you very much sub.Ed).

While we’re not huge fans of Facebook gaming, we must admit that the site would greatly benefit from Ubisoft’s touch, as there is no way their games could ever be worse than the godawful apps that currently circulate the social notworking community.
